"A good cloud extra. Unrecognised. An example of the credulity of the spiritualist and the need for care in investigation. Mrs ... claimed the extra as her husband and had an enlargement made and framed. It was only after some years when discussing the photograph with me she said, 'It wasn't a very good likeness as I remember him because he has grown a moustache in the Spirit World'".
