These pages are not meant to be a guide to capturing and processing astro images, I've written them as my own crib notes because I find it easier to be able to quickly pull up these pages for my own reference when I need something

If you're looking for a good introduction, primer and reference for astrophotography then I would recommend Chris Woodhouse's The Astrophotography Manual

I use PixInsight for image processing, so I'd recommend Warren A Keller's Inside PixInsight and Rogelio Bernal Andreo's Mastering PixInsight for your library. There are of course plenty of internet sources, the PixInsight site has a link to many resources and their ‘PixInsight Ambassadors’ and I often use Kayron Mercieca's Light Vortex Astronomy and Jon Rista's Tutorials
